History

In the early 1990s, leaders of the Cuban Civil Aeronautics Institute (IACC) conceptualized Aerovaradero as an airline to address changes in the Cuban and international economic context. Originally intended to mitigate the impact of the Soviet-made air fleet’s wear and tear, Aerovaradero evolved into a company with a broad social scope, specializing in air freight transportation. Certified by ISO standards since 2002, Aerovaradero expanded its operations, including terminals in Havana City and Varadero, and representations at airports nationwide.

Aerovaradero’s mission is to operate air freight terminals in Cuba, offering integral services to freight as freight forwarders and airline representatives, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
